We are a traditional country Pub in an ideal location for horse-riding, cycling or walking holidays. Set off the A505 we are between Luton and the historic market town of Hitchin, in an excellent location for exploring nearby places of interest, and within easy access to London/Luton Airport. You can view a map of our location here.

Ideal for walkers, we are near to the Icknield Way walking path with miles of green lanes to explore. The Lilley Arms is also included in one of the Chiltern Pub walks, ideal for those looking for fresh air, some exercise, and of course good food and drink.


We have a beautiful outside marquee and converted barn that is available for private hire for any special occasion.

The barn seats between 50 - 80 people and includes a hayloft bar. Whilst the marquee is 6 x 18 meters long and seats a further 64 people. It is suitable for any occasion from christenings through to funerals and has even been used to stage medieval banquets!

We can offer a complete party service with balloon's and flower's when required. Catering can also be supplied by our à la carte restaurant.
